London, June 3 (ANI): Ashley Cole is quite optimistic of winning back Cheryl Cole again as he was spotted wearing his diamond-encrusted wedding band on the ring finger of his right hand.
He has been comforting Cheryl over phone following her US X Factor sacking. He has insisted to his pals that he is close to being reunited with his 'only true love'.
The 30-year-old Chelsea defender removed the 200,000-pound ring after his sordid fling with hairdresser Aimee Walton was revealed in 2008. 27-year-old Cheryl also ditched her own 150,000-pound sparkler.
But Ashley was clicked wearing his band as he posed for photos with fans after an England training session at London Colney, Herts, and kept it on as he left West London's Chinawhite club, reports the Sun.
"It's his way of saying to Cheryl that she is his only true love and he thinks they are close to getting back together. Ash is convinced they have a future once again as man and wife," said a friend close to Ashley. (ANI)
